An Orlando mortgage lender is suing a Granite City debtor for defaulting on her loan.
According to a lawsuit filed March 8 in Madison County Circuit Court, Taylor, Bean and Whitaker Mortgage Corp. entered into a mortgage contract on April 29, 2005, with Lori A. Jones for $86,335. The loan was applied toward the purchase of the property at 2724 Saratoga St. in Granite City.
However, the mortgage firm claims Jones left an unpaid principal balance of $81,295.33, prompting foreclosure. After sale of the property, the lender was allegedly left with a sizable deficiency.
TBW seeks the principal due of $110,307.
The plaintiff is represented by Lisa Arlyn Lowe of Buckley King LPA in Cleveland.
