The purchaser of a new home is seeking damages from the builder and realtor who allegedly weren't disclosed in the sale contract.

According to a lawsuit filed March 8 in Madison County Circuit Court, Kelsey L. Hubert is seeking compensation for damages discovered after taking possession of a home from builder Bradley Hunziker and realtor Sharon Jones of REMAX Integrity Realty Center.

Hubert claims Hunziker and Jones failed "to disclose material and important information regarding the condition of the real property that was within the seller's knowledge," as well as "the existence of mine subsidence or other material defects in the walls, floors or structural integrity of the property."

Hubert is seeking damages in excess of $200,000.

The plaintiff is represented by Blake G. Meinders of Sprague and Urban of Belleville, Ill.
