A woman and her four-year-old daughter are plaintiffs in a suit against drivers involved in a car accident two years ago in Belleville.
Megan Sullivan and daughter Jazmyne Sullivan filed suit against the driver of the vehicle they were riding in as passengers - Markeith Wright - and the other involved driver, James E. Appel.
Sullivan claims that Wright was operating a 2009 Kia Sorento northbound on South 6th Street when it collided with a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser that was eastbound on West Washington Street and operated by Appel.
Sullivan says both drivers failed to keep proper lookouts in order to avoid the accident, which occurred March 8, 2013.
She claims that she and her daughter suffered serious personal injuries in the accident.
Sullivan seeks in excess of $50,000 in damages.
She is represented by Mark C. Scoggins of Columbia.
