Williams Venker & Sanders partners Theodore Williams, Paul Venker and Steven Sanders have been named to "The Best Lawyers in America" for the St. Louis area.

Williams, recognized for his work in personal injury and railroad law, saw his 20-year anniversary as a "Best Lawyer."

Venker was recognized for his work in labor and employment litigation, medical malpractice law, and personal injury litigation. This year marked his 10th year on the list.

Sanders was recognized for commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, and product liability litigation. Last year was his 30th year in the "Best Lawyers" listing.

Making his first appearance on the list this year was partner, Patrick Chavez, who was named for product liability defense. Chavez serves as the group leader for the eDiscovery & Information Management group at Williams Venker & Sanders.

He devotes much of his practice to counseling clients in legal matters involving technology, including document management, social media, document retention and cloud computing. He also has an ongoing complex litigation practice, in which he regularly handles commercial litigation matters and the defense of product and professional liability suits, among other types of actions.
