Ripato Trucking sued over collision on I-64

A woman is suing after her family sustained injuries in a collision.

Dranette Branson, Jamaul Washington and Jade Washington, a minor, filed a lawsuit Jan. 23 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Ripato Trucking and Billy Hollar, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, on June 18, 2012, Branson and Jamaul and Jade Washington were injured when their car was struck by a vehicle operated by Hollar for Ripato Trucking on I-64. The defendants are accused of negligence.

Branson is seeking more than $50,000 in damages.

She is being represented in the case by attorney Shaun M. Falvey of Brown & Crouppen P.C.
