Woman sues estate of man who allegedly killed his wife

The estate of a man who shot his wife, then killed himself, is named as a defendant in a recently filed lawsuit.

Constance Henry filed a lawsuit Jan. 22 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against the estate of Bobby Stewart.

In her complaint, Henry alleges Bobby Stewart shot and killed Dorothy McCaskill on Nov. 22, 2012. According to Fox 2, the incident occurred on Thanksgiving when Bobby Stewart killed his wife, shot his daughter in the leg, then killed himself at a home in the 800 block of 75th Street off State Street in East St. Louis.

Henry is seeking a judgment of more than $100,000, plus costs and other relief the court deems just. She is being represented by P.K. Johnson, IV and Megan M. Nolan of Johnson and Johnson in Belleville.
