Jack Lingenfelder filed suit in Madison County Circuit Court on Jan. 3, naming C.A.M.S Automotive as defendant.
Lingenfelder is suing CAMS over damage allegedly done to his 1970 Chevrolet Corvette while in the care of CAMS. Lingenfelder claims that on May 20, he paid CAMS more than $10,000 for mechanical work he wanted done on his Corvette. Lingenfelder says the car was not properly stored and was damaged inside and out as a result. The work completed on his car was apparently poorly done and led to mechanical issues, according to the complaint.
Lingenfelder is suing for negligence and is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented by attorney Janel L. Freeman.
