Williams Venker & Sanders has announced that attorneys John F. Mahon, Jr. and Matthew E. Pelikan have been named partner as of Jan. 1.
Mahon has experience in healthcare law involving medical negligence claims, business and commercial litigation, personal injury, products liability, premises liability, construction, toxic torts and insurance litigation.
One of Super Lawyers’ 2013 “Rising Stars,” he graduated from Boston College with highest honors before earning his juris doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law in 2004.
Pelikan specializes in asbestos claims defense, but also has a litigation background in the areas of labor and employment, workers' compensation, products and premises liability and general commercial issues. He has additional experience negotiating settlements and has successfully argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002, and his juris doctorate in 2005 from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
