A man says he was rear-ended by a distracted driver while riding his motorcycle in Bethalto.
Anthony M. Santoni filed a lawsuit against Pamela S. Abbott Nov. 27 in Madison County Circuit Court.
Santoni says he was riding his motorcycle on Illinois Route 140 in March 2012. At the intersection of Bellwood Road, Santoni claims he was hit from behind by a car driven by Abbott. Santoni accuses Abbott of negligence for driving while being distracted.
He asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical costs, lost wages and court fees.Attorney Gregory M. Tobin, of East Alton, represents Santoni.
