A company that operates health care facilities around the nation is suing a patient for allegedly failing to pay for medical goods and services.
Granite County Illinois Hospital Company, doing business as Gateway Regional Medical Center, filed a lawsuit on June 11 in Madison County Circuit Court against Kisha James, alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the center provided the defendant with medical goods and services upon the defendant's request. Although the plaintiff has demanded payment, James has allegedly failed to comply and owes a balance of $51,941.71.
Gateway Regional Medical Center seeks damages in the above amount, plus attorney fees and costs. It is represented by attorneys at Miller & Steeno. in St. Louis.
