Harrison to run for Circuit Judge
Following a proud family tradition, Madison County Associate Judge Clarence Harrison will announce his intention to seek a higher office--the seat vacated by the retired Circuit Judge Philip Kardis.
Borror pleads guilty to stealing
Rather than face a scheduled trial Sept. 19, former Edwardsville Republican Committee Treasurer Forrest Borror pleaded guilty to one felony theft count and a reduced misdemeanor charge for stealing from his group and his employer, the state of Illinois.
Med mal client sues Alton attorney for legal mal
Madison County's so-called friendly venue was not nice, indeed, for Alton plaintiff's attorney Robert Larson on Monday. His medical malpractice client sued him for legal malpractice.

Among the many pending Vioxx class action lawsuits filed in Madison county, one instigated by Earl Gori of Madison County and Michael Elward of Wabash County, Ind. will be in court Sept. 28, for a case management conference and Merck's motion to transfer.
