Lunch monitor sues student and parents for horseplay injuries

A school lunch monitor who got caught in the middle horseplay is suing the student and his parents for more than $50,000 for neck and back injuries she sustained.

New judge assigned in Maag v. Illinois Chamber

A $110 million defamation lawsuit filed by Gordon E. Maag, who lost the Illinois Supreme Court Justice race and retention to the appellate court, has been been assigned to Associate Judge Stuart Shiffman of the 7th Judicial Circuit, in Sangamon County.
