A Madison County couple says they lost their home after a company deceptively misinformed their daughter regarding the redemption of their home after a tax sale.
Madison County Clerk Mark Von Nida said the county's 20-25 percent early voting turnout is "really paying off" by having set up smooth sailing on election day.
More than 100 people were in line to vote early on Thursday afternoon, the last day to vote before the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Election officials in Madison and St. Clair counties said early voting has eclipsed their expectations in the first presidential election it has been available.
