Adomite It's really simple: According to Section 1 of Article II of the Illinois Constitution, The legislative, executive and judicial branches are separate. No branch shall exercise powers properly belonging to another. Call it Separation of Powers, it's a basic tenet of constitutional government you learn in the 8th grade.

Soros, related groups really want judicial control

Adomite These groups would never admit the need for legal reform, nor would they acknowledge that some judges are better than others. They would never acknowledge an even more dramatic thought that some judges might not be living up the high standards they've been trusted to uphold and maintain.

Adomite The U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform released its seventh-annual Harris Poll surveying senior attorneys at America's largest companies. Illinois ranked 46th overall, putting our state in the Top Five of worst legal climates. West Virginia ranked last and Delaware first, in case anyone is keeping track.
