McGuireWoods once again ranked among the nation’s top law firms for client service in BTI Consulting’s 2024 “Client Service A-Team” report. The firm was lauded as “Best of the Best” in seven key performance categories, according to the annual survey of corporate counsel.
McGuireWoods ranked No. 11 overall, marking the 18th time the firm has ranked among the top 30 in BTI’s survey of law firm performance — the gold standard for measuring client service excellence. McGuireWoods is one of only four firms nationwide to earn a coveted top 30 ranking in each of the past 10 years.
The BTI report is based on interviews with top legal decision makers at companies with revenue of $1 billion or more. Corporate counsel rated McGuireWoods “Best of the Best” for the following client service attributes: commitment to help, client focus, quality products, meets core scope, unprompted communication, easy to work with and trusted for cost control.
“The firm generates new ideas and approaches to help develop the best game plan,” the BTI report said. “Clients report they strive to make the working experience easier to manage.”
McGuireWoods was one of only five firms to earn BTI’s “Best of the Best” rating for being trusted for cost control. The firm’s legal project management tool, ClientSync, “goes a long way to helping McGuireWoods’ clients achieve their operational and strategic goals,” the report said.
In interviews with BTI researchers, clients also praised McGuireWoods for responsiveness.
“McGuireWoods is always my first call because they are willing to drop everything to take on an urgent matter,” one client said.
