Anthony Lucchesi was one of several preliminary judges for the 32nd National Health Law Moot Court competition recently hosted by Southern Illinois University School of Law. Twenty-six teams from 18 law schools participated in the event, which is the only mock U.S. Supreme Court competition dedicated solely to health law.
Lucchesi, an associate attorney in the firm’s Springfield office, focuses his practice on civil litigation and appellate work, particularly medical and dental malpractice, employment, and environmental. He obtained his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2022. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science from Illinois College. While in law school, he was a board member of Moot Court and a two-time participant in the National Moot Court Competition. Additionally, he was President of the Sports Lawyers Association and Vice-President and Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, Lucchesi is licensed to practice in Illinois and Indiana.
