Master Medical Care, First Care Express Care sued by former employee for alleged breach of contract

EDWARDSVILLE – A former employee has filed a lawsuit against Master Medical Care, LLC and First Care Express Care, LLC claiming $200,000 in unpaid wages. 

Plaintiff Beth Klenke filed the lawsuit in the Madison County Circuit Court against Master Medical Care, LLC and First Care Express Care, LLC citing breach of contract.

According to the lawsuit, on Sept. 25, 2015, Klenke entered into an employment contact with the defendants. Klenke claims she completed all the terms of the contract, but the defendants breached the contract by failing to pay her $115,000 in wages, $50,000 in overtime pay and $35,000 in out of pocket expenses.

Klenke is seeking $200,000 in damages, plus 5% in interest for each month the total amount remains unpaid. She is also seeking court costs, attorney fees and any other relief the court deems proper. She is represented in this case by attorney Peter J. Maag of the Maag Law Firm, LLC in Wood River.
