Polsinelli PC announces Polsinelli Advises Illinois’ Largest Nonprofit Retirement Community on Chapter 11 Proceedings and Potential Sale

Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli recently advised client Friendship Village of Schaumburg, the largest nonprofit retirement community in Illinois, in the company’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and potential sale. Friendship Village of Schaumburg operates an 815-unit continuing care complex and can accommodate up to 1,000 residents on its 60-acre campus, one of the largest of its kind in the entire nation. An auction is slated for Oct. 3, 2023, and the nonprofit aims to have a sale finalized by December.

Polsinelli is representing Friendship Village of Schaumburg in this matter with a cross-practice team of attorneys. The team is led by Shareholder Jeremy R. Johnson and Associate Trinitee G.
