Marcia M. Meis, Director of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, announced today that the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit judges voted to select Marina L. Cowart as an associate judge of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit.
Mr. Cowart received her undergraduate degree in 1998 from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, her Juris Doctor in 2001 from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois and her M.D.R. from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Ms. Cowart is currently affiliated with the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office in St. Charles, Illinois and Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois.
