Plaintiff Gerald Haar filed the lawsuit in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Bell Indiana, LLC, citing negligence.

According to the lawsuit, Haar was a customer at a Taco Bell restaurant operated by the defendant in Belleville on Dec. 9, 2022. Haar claims that while he was on the premises, he tripped on an improperly placed floormat, causing him to fall to the floor and sustain injuries.
