EDWARDSVILLE - A Campsville woman is suing a South Roxana bar, claiming she was injured as a "bystander" during a bar fight.

Amy Finch filed the complaint in the Madison County Circuit Court against Second Last Chance Saloon Inc.

According to the complaint, Finch claims the bar sold alcohol to a man who later got into a fight with other patrons after becoming intoxicated. Finch alleges she sustained severe injuries to her wrist during the Aug. 27, 2021. As a result, Finch claims she "has suffered and will continue to suffer in the future physical and mental anguish."

Finch claims she "has been unable to perform her activities as she has in the past and is reasonably certain to suffer impairment in her other activities in the future," the suit states.

She alleges the bar failed to prevent the fight and failed to call law enforcement when the fight was imminent.

Finch seeks $50,000 plus legal costs. She is represented by Adam Bragee of Bragee Law LLC in Edwardsville.
