Illinois residents are invited to join local state representatives for a Telephone Town Hall on Aug. 31 at 6:30 p.m.
Republican State Representatives Amy Elik (Fosterburg), Charlie Meier (Okawville) and David Friess (Red Bud) are hosting the event so residents can join the conversation about state issues. The discussion will focus on energy prices and other important issues state government faces.
Residents will receive a phone call on Wednesday and can stay on the line to join the conversation. If a resident does not receive a call and would like to participate, they may call 888-652-0383.
“I encourage residents with questions concerning state government to please join us on Wednesday,” Elik stated. “This telephone town hall will serve a great opportunity to learn more about the important issues facing state government and get answers to questions which are important to you.”
