EDWARDSVILLE – A customer is suing DK Nails Spa Salon in Edwardsville after she was allegedly injured during a physical altercation between two of the spa's employees.

Plaintiff Christian Bausily filed the lawsuit in the Madison County Circuit Court against DK Nails Spa Salon, Inc., citing negligence.

According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff was at the nail salon on April 22. She was waiting in a chair to get her eyebrows waxed when two of the spa's employees allegedly got into a violent argument and began throwing massage rocks at each other. Bausily claims one of the massage rocks struck her in the back, injuring her. Bausily claims she then ran to the front of the store to escape the conflict when one of the employees pulled out a knife.

Bausily alleges the incident caused her to fear for her safety. She also claims her injuries will require medical treatment, which has caused her to incur medical expenses.

The plaintiff is seeking damages in an amount in excess of $50,000, plus the costs of the suit. She is represented in this case by attorney Keith Short of Keith Short and Associates, P.C. in Alton.
