Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that former U.S. Attorney General William Barr recently appeared on an episode of The Justice Insiders.

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that former U.S. Attorney General William Barr recently appeared on an episode of The Justice Insiders, a podcast produced by the firm’s White Collar, Internal Investigations & Compliance team. Barr was interviewed by podcast co-hosts Gregg Sofer, an Austin-based partner at Husch Blackwell and former U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas, and Tim Garrison, former U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri and current Husch Blackwell partner based in Springfield, Missouri.

The episode, which posted today, features over 20 minutes of conversation exploring the challenges and accomplishments of Mr. Barr’s two tenures heading up the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as discussing his new book, One Damn Thing After Another: Memoirs of an Attorney General. The book has spent the past month on the New York Times bestseller list for nonfiction, including two weeks at Number One.

“We are so thankful that AG Barr took some time out of his busy schedule to talk to our audience about a range of important topics that bear upon regulatory compliance and the prosecution of white-collar crime,” Sofer said. “DOJ is increasingly focusing its efforts on investigating and prosecuting corporate crime. AG Barr’s insight on the difficulties of changing priorities and implementing policy changes provides valuable perspective our listeners can utilize to understand this evolving enforcement landscape.”

The Justice Insiders was launched in March 2022 and provides perspective on interesting criminal cases and issues related to compliance, internal investigations, and regulatory enforcement.
