EDWARDSVILLE - A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly causing a rear-end collision on East University Drive in Edwardsville.
Plaintiff Lindsay M. Hargrave filed the lawsuit on March 18 in the Madison County Circuit Court against defendant Sydney L. Schultz, citing negligence.
According to the lawsuit, Hargrave was traveling eastbound on East University Drive in Edwardsville on Nov. 10, 2021. She claims she stopped due to traffic and was hit from behind by Schultz, who failed to stop her vehicle.
The lawsuit states that Hargrave has suffered injuries to her neck and back. Hargrave claims she incurred medical expenses as a result of the collision and will continue to require the services of medical staff to recover.
Hargrave is seeking damages in excess of $50,000, plus court costs. She is represented in this case by attorney Keith Short of Keith Short and Associates, P.C. in Alton.
