IL U.S. House District 13 - Rodney Davis issued the following announcement on Oct. 20.
U.S. Representative Rodney Davis (R-IL) today announced that The Baby Fold based in Normal will be recognized as a 2021 ‘Angels in Adoption’ honoree this week in a national virtual ceremony. Davis nominated the Baby Fold in July because of their outstanding adoption services to children and families across 28 counties in Central Illinois.
The Baby Fold has been serving children and families across Illinois since 1902. They currently serve over 1,200 individuals each year through 12 different, life-changing programs. The Baby Fold aims to better the lives of children and families while reflecting on the principles of love, hope, and healing.
The Angels in Adoption program is a public awareness campaign through the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI), which provides members of Congress with the opportunity to honor their constituents who have enriched the lives of foster children and orphans as well as highlight the importance of adoption.
“The Baby Fold has been successfully wrapping services around children and families since 1902,” said Aimee Beam, Vice President of Development and Public Relations, The Baby Fold. “Offering life-critical support such as adoption support, foster care to adoption, special education, and early childhood programming, The Baby Fold is a unique resource with a strong heritage. We care for our youngest citizens so they can be blessed with loving stable homes and the futures they deserve. We are honored to serve our community’s children.”
