The session, titled “3-D Printing Medical Devices and the Disruption of Product Liability Law and Regulation,” will address the billion dollar 3-D printing technology industry, which is growing in popularity in settings like hospitals for medical devices, disrupting the standard liability process when defective devices are made. Additionally, Daniel will discuss the changing role of the FDA in regulating medical devices based on the use of this new technology.
