EDWARDSVILLE — A patient claims a dentist at Aspen Dental improperly extracted his teeth, causing him to suffer injuries.

Gary Sisk filed a complaint July 14 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Aspen Dental et al., and Dr. Alex Wojtzna.

Sisk alleges in his complaint that on July 17, 2019, and subsequent dates, he was a patient at Aspen Dental. He claims that during his "course of treatment," Aspen employees and agents "improperly" extracted his teeth and failed to "properly advise" him of the "proper procedures" related to the extractions.

Sisk alleges that as a result of the extractions, he has suffered pain, disfigurement and expenses.

Sisk seeks compensation of more than $50,000 and all other proper relief. He is represented by Jeffrey Weishaupt in East Alton.
