EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist claims he was injured when another driver caused a rear-end collision at a red light on Illinois State Route 159.

Nathaniel Bock filed a complaint June 29 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Troy Turner, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Bock was driving his vehicle on Glen Crossing Road on July 3, 2019. He claims he approached the intersection at Illinois State Route 159 and stopped for a red light. He alleges Turner, who was driving behind him, collided with his vehicle.

Bock alleges he suffered injuries as a result of the collision, including disability and loss of a normal life. He also alleges he incurred medical treatment expenses. Bock claims Turner failed to slow down to avoid the crash and failed to keep a lookout for other vehicles that were on the road.

Bock seeks compensation of more than $50,000 and all other just relief. He is represented by Tad Armstrong of Armstrong Law Offices in Edwardsville.
