U.S. Representative Rodney L. Davis (IL - 13) issued the following announcement on June 22.
U.S. Representative Rodney Davis (R-Ill) has received the “Abraham Lincoln Leadership for America” Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The Award recognizes Members of Congress based on their co-sponsorship of legislation important to the business community during this pivotal moment for our country. Davis was one of 23 Lincoln award recipients in the House and one of 10 Republicans.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by the U.S. Chamber for my bipartisan work in Congress to grow our nation's economy,” said Rep. Davis. “I am committed to supporting legislation that supports entrepreneurs and the business community because that means more jobs for Illinois and families I represent. We should be doing everything we can to help small businesses, keep their taxes low, grow jobs, boost wages, and get Americans back to work because that’s how we will recover from the economic damage caused by the pandemic.”
“These awards recognize members of Congress based on their co-sponsorship of legislation important to the business community,” said Suzanne P. Clark, CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “The Chamber appreciates Congressman Davis' support of policies that create jobs and support economic growth.”
