EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly causing a collision on Edwardsville Road.
Donna Biggs filed a complaint March 23 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Raymond Good, alleging negligence.
Biggs alleges in her complaint that she was driving her vehicle southbound on Edwardsville Road near Buckyeye Drive in Troy on April 19, 2019. Good allegedlyentered the roadway and struck the front passenger side of the plaintiff's vehicle. Biggs claims she suffered injuries to her head, chest, spine, ribs, elbow, sides and back and has suffered mental anguish. Biggs also claims she incurred medical treatment expenses.
Biggs alleges in the suit that Good failed to "obey the instructions of an official traffic control device," and failed to yield the right of way. She also alleges Good failed to "keep a proper lookout" while operating his vehicle.
Biggs seeks compensation of more than $50,000 and all other just relief. She is represented by Bruce Mattea and William Boker, III, of The Mattea Law Firm in Collinsville.
