EDWARDSVILLE — The Metro East Sanitary District is accused of allegedly breaching a contract.
Cedric Irby filed a two-page complaint Jan. 20 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Metro East Sanitary District, alleging breach of contract.
According to the pro se complaint, Irby, a Madison County resident, entered into a contract with the Metro East Sanitary District on Jan. 16, 2020. The complaint states that the contract was "offered, signed, accepted and was supported by consideration." The suit also alleges that the plaintiff "performed the contract" with the Metro East Sanitary District, but the defendant failed "to perform the contract."
The plaintiff seeks compensation of more than $125,000, plus interest and all other proper relief.
