Clark Hill PLC issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.
Clark Hill is proud to announce that it has been recognized this year with the Compass Award from the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. This is the third year in which Clark Hill has received the Compass Award.
The Compass Award recognizes individuals and organizations that have fulfilled attendance and participation requirements in LCLD programs and events. In total, 50 organizations were recognized with the Compass Award while 75 others were designated "Top Performers."
"The firm was enriched this past year by its participation again in all of LCLD’s signature programs which include Fellows Program, Pathfinder Program, 1L Scholar Program, and Law School Mentoring," said Earsa Jackson, chair of the Clark Hill's Diversity Committee. "These programs not only address issues facing diverse law school students but reach to the level of equity and inclusion at the partnership level in law firms."
Founded in 2009, LCLD has grown to an organization of more than 350 members, who serve as either general counsel of major corporations or managing partners of the nation's leading law firms.
