Greensfelder Hemker & Gale PC. issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
Greensfelder attorney John C. Hanson has been elected treasurer of the Madison County (Illinois) Bar Association.
John, a native of Edwardsville, previously served as recording secretary for the bar association. He is based in Greensfelder’s Southern Illinois office and is an associate in the litigation practice group. He joined Greensfelder after serving as an assistant state’s attorney in the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office and received his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law.

Scott, managing officer of Greensfelder’s Southern Illinois office. “As Greensfelder focuses on broadening our strong connections across the Metro East, this is another way for us to continue to give back through service.”
The Madison County Bar Association has a membership of more than 400 attorneys and serves as a network of legal professionals as well as a legal resource for the communities and citizens of Madison County, Illinois. Its members engage in community outreach programs, events, and charitable causes throughout the year.
