J.F. Electric alleges Environmental Operations failed to pay for electrical services

EDWARDSVILLE — An Illinois electrical company claims it is owed more than $66,000 under a contract with Environmental Operations. 

J.F. Electric Incorporated filed a complaint May 15 in Madison County Circuit Court against Environmental Operations Inc., alleging breach of contract. 

According to the complaint, Environmental Operations executed a purchase order on May 15, 2018 for J.F. Electric to provide electrical services on a time and materials basis. From January 2019 through December 2019, J.F. Electric provided the electrical services as requested and submitted invoices to the defendant for payment.

J.F. Electric alleges Environmental Operations has failed to pay the invoices.

The plaintiff claims it performed all of its obligations under the purchase order and has been damaged by the defendant’s breach of the contract.

J.F. Electric alleges Environmental Operations owes more than $66,909 excluding any finance charges. The defendant also allegedly owes the plaintiff a finance charge of 1.5% per month on the unpaid invoices.

J.F. Electric seeks monetary relief, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. They are represented by Mark Goldenberg and Thomas Horscroft of Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli PC in Edwardsville.
