Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP recently issued the following announcement.

The Department of Defense recently announced that suppliers, contractors and subcontractors providing products and services to the defense supply chain will be required to comply with the newly-issued Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), beginning in September 2020.

This CLE will delve into the background and complexities of the CMMC and provide guidance on how you can navigate the new required CMMC certification process from a legal and technical standpoint.

This program is approved for CLE credit in the following states:

Pennsylvania – 1.5 substantive distance credit

New Jersey – 1.8 live credit distance credit

New York – 1.5 professional practice credit (transitional and non-transitional credit, approved for newly admitted attorneys)

California – 1.5 general credit

Texas – 1.5 general credit

Illinois – 1.5 general credit

Connecticut – 1.5 general credit

Indiana – 1.5 general credit distance credit

Colorado – 1.5 general credit

We have applied for credit in the following states: Delaware, Minnesota, Ohio and Virginia.
