Illinois Supreme Court issued the following announcement on July 22.
Marcia M. Meis, Director of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, announced that the First Judicial Circuit judges voted to select Tyler R. Edmonds as associate judge of the First Judicial Circuit.
Mr. Edmonds received his undergraduate degree in 2003 from the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL and his Juris Doctor in 2006 from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Edmonds is currently affiliated with the Union County State's Attorney's Office in Jonesboro, IL
