Greensfelder issued the following announcement on July 3.
John Hanson represents companies in a variety of commercial litigation matters. As a former prosecutor, he takes a thorough and nuanced approach to handling all stages of litigation preparation, with an eye focused on each client’s individual business and legal needs.
John previously was an assistant state’s attorney in Madison County, Illinois, where he represented the state in bench and jury trials. That experience gives him a strong background in how the state’s courts operate, bringing his clients an insider’s knowledge on how to navigate disputes.
During law school, John worked as an extern for the Clinton County State’s Attorney’s office and for the Honorable Edward Sweeney of the 22nd Judicial Circuit in St. Louis. He also previously taught political science at the university level and worked for a U.S. congressman.
