The list recognizes leading attorneys with a commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.

As the Director of Diversity & Inclusion at Mayer Brown, Mr. DeBerry ensures that the firm strives to fulfill its commitment to enhancing diversity in the legal profession. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as an editor on the Virginia Law Review.

Mr. Harris focuses his practice on a range of matters related to the business community, including class actions, arbitration agreements, contract and real estate disputes, administrative actions, and privacy and cybersecurity. He has also handled many First Amendment cases alleging defamation and other privacy torts. In addition, as a registered patent attorney, he has litigated IP disputes. Mr. Harris represents clients in both federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels. Before joining Mayer Brown nearly 15 years ago, Mr. Harris served as a law clerk to the late Judge David D. Dowd Jr. of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He received a BS in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MS in biology summa cum laude from North Carolina Central University, and his JD summa cum laude from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
