Scott Cruz, Member in Clark Hill’s Labor and Employment group, will speak at the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA) Business Briefing: Legislative Impact Alert on June 12, 2019 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg, IL. The presentation will focus on a variety of recently passed and pending legislation that affect businesses. Topics of discussion include: recreational and medical marijuana in the workplace, Illinois minimum wages obligations, the Equal Pay Act and more.
Scott Cruz represents both public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including civil litigation and preventative counseling. Scott assists employers in drafting employment policies, employment agreements, and non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. Scott is versed in all aspects of state and federal law relating to minimum wages, overtime, exemptions, and wage payment issues.
