MCGUIREWOODS LLP: McGuireWoods Selects Gina LeBlanc, Yoojin Lee for Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder Program

McGuireWoods LLP issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.

McGuireWoods selected associates Gina LeBlanc and Yoojin Lee as representative members of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity 2019 Pathfinder Program, which fosters professional development of lawyers early in their careers.

LeBlanc advises employers in labor and employment matters and represents clients before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Prior to joining the firm in Tysons, Virginia, she was in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 global technology company. She earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was an editor for the First Amendment Law Review and a member of the Holderness Moot Court team.

“It is a privilege to represent McGuireWoods in the 2019 Pathfinder Program,” LeBlanc said. “I am grateful to engage in this rewarding and valuable experience.”

Lee represents banks and institutional lenders in domestic and cross-border financing transactions, and has advised clients in multibillion-dollar acquisitions. Before joining the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office, she practiced law in Seoul, South Korea, and represented international companies with operations in Asia, Europe and the United States, including retail conglomerates, life sciences and engineering companies, and private equity funds. She earned her J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law, where she was a staff member for the UCLA Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs.

“I am honored to join this outstanding group of lawyers and I look forward to the many opportunities the Pathfinder Program provides,” Lee said.
