Benesch Law issued the following announcement on Jan. 30.
As 2019 dawns, Benesch continues the expansion of its Chicago office with the announcement that Laura D. Pone has been hired as an associate.
Pone joins Benesch’s Health Care & Life Sciences Practice Group. She has experience in transactional and regulatory matters across diverse segments of the industry. Laura will support our transactional and regulatory practice and also assist with compliance matters.

Pone will also assist clients in developing compliance strategies, including review and analysis of laws and regulations in all 50 states which will impact our clients’ business strategies and goals.
The hiring of Pone reflects continued momentum for Benesch, which has been growing aggressively in Chicago and expanding its national footprint as part of a strategic plan launched by Eisenberg in 2015. In all, 60 attorneys have joined the firm in the last 18 months, which has also seen the opening of a Chicago office and the expansion of practices including class action litigation, intellectual property litigation and labor and employment. Since making its debut on the AmLaw 200 list in 2016, the firm has advanced 15 places and is currently ranked at number 180.
