POLSINELLI PC: Polsinelli's Financial Technology and Regulation Practice Recognized in Chambers 2019 FinTech Guide

Polsinelli PC issued the following announcement on Jan. 30.

Polsinelli’s Financial Technology (“FinTech”) and Regulation Practice has been recognized by Chambers and Partners in its recent FinTech 2019 guide. Polsinelli is one of just 11 firms to be recognized.

Chambers also recognized Polsinelli FinTech Practice Chair Richard B. Levin individually in the Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies category.

“We are proud to be recognized by our clients and Chambers as a trusted advisor in the FinTech space,” said Levin. “Since the firm launched our FinTech and Regulation Practice nearly three years ago, we have seen tremendous growth driven by the confidence of our clients and the developments in the regulation of digital assets and blockchain technology. We look forward to building this momentum as our clients navigate new regulatory issues in the years to come.”

Chambers rankings are based on several factors, including information obtained from client interviews, submissions put forward by law firms, as well as Chambers’ own database resources. Individual attorneys are ranked on the basis of their legal knowledge and experience, ability, effectiveness and client-service in their respective practice areas.

As one surveyed client said: “Polsinelli has very good connections with U.S. and international regulators. A lot of what we brought forward hadn't been seen before by regulators, but they have taken us through that process and we are very pleased with the end result."

Another client noted Levin’s strength in advising FinTech businesses on securities regulatory issues and compliance: "Rick does a really excellent job of using his knowledge of the law to help his clients achieve business goals, especially in regulatory negotiations and particularly with the SEC."

Levin joined Polsinelli in 2016 and launched the firm’s FinTech and Regulation Practice, which is made up of attorneys specializing in securities, corporate, intellectual property, litigation, public policy, tax, transactional, and regulatory issues to serve clients in the FinTech space.
