On November 9, HeplerBroom is co-sponsoring an environmental seminar titled “Illinois Water Laws and Regulations.” Featured speakers at the seminar (which is being held in Springfield, Illinois) will include HB attorneys Jennifer Martin and Joshua Houser. The seminar topics will cover Illinois water regulatory and enforcement updates and water issues affecting utilities and agriculture. Professional engineers will be eligible for 6.5 PDHs; Illinois attorneys can earn 6.5 CLEs (1.0 Illinois Professionalism hour). Registration and other information is available here.
Martin, who is a partner in the firm’s Springfield office, focuses her practice on environmental law and real estate. She has been named an Illinois Leading Lawyer and was recently profiled in an issue of Leading Lawyers Magazine. Houser, an associate in the Springfield office, also focuses his practice on environmental law. He has been named an Emerging Lawyer by Illinois Leading Lawyers and was one of Springfield Business Journal’s 2018 Forty Under 40 honorees.
