HeplerBroom issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.
Rebecca Nickelson will be one of the featured panelists at the American Bar Association’s September 14 seminar, which is being held at Washington University School of Law. Entitled “Why Should We Select Your Law Firm,” the seminar will include panel discussions of how an insurance company selects the right law firm, how to avoid ethics lapses that can lose that hard-earned business, and tips on how to retain an insurance company’s business. The event is sponsored by the ABA’s TIPS Committee (Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section) and will feature panelists from the judiciary, insurance companies, law firms, and the Missouri Supreme Court’s Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel.
Nickelson focuses her legal practice on the defense of asbestos and other toxic tort matters, including product and premises liability. She has been named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and is a previous recipient of the President’s Award from the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Nickelson speaks frequently about toxic tort and diversity issues.
