Additional 156 attorneys ranked on Best Lawyers list for 2019
Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli congratulates nine of its attorneys who were named “Lawyers of the Year” on The Best Lawyers in America© 2019 list, and 156 additional attorneys who are ranked as Best Lawyers for 2019.
Only one lawyer in each practice area of the Best Lawyers® communities is selected for the honor as “Lawyer of the Year.” Polsinelli attorneys from a wide variety of industries and practice areas received recognition, and more than half of this year’s honorees are previous “Lawyers of the Year” selections.
Notably, Shareholder Dan Flanigan was recognized as a “Lawyer of the Year” for the sixth time in his career, while Shareholder Robert Hendersonearned the designation for the second consecutive year and third total time in his career.
Other Polsinelli attorneys honored this year who have previously earned the “Lawyers of the Year” distinction include Global Franchise and Supply Network Practice Co-Chair Len MacPhee (three times), Shareholder P. John Brady (twice), Senior Partner Jeff Rosen (twice), Shareholder Kenneth Suelthaus (twice) and Nonprofit Organizations Practice Chair Thomas Schenkelberg (twice). This was the first year that Shareholder Maribeth McMahon and Senior Partner Timothy Sear were named “Lawyers of the Year.”
Polsinelli’s 156 attorneys ranked as Best Lawyers for 2019 is an increase from the 144 attorneys ranked for 2018.

The 2019 Best Lawyers in America© rankings announcement comes less than four months after Polsinelli earned its highest-ever firm ranking on the 2018 Am Law 100 list, jumping five spots to No. 69. Last month, the firm was recognized with top rankings for its Health Care Department by two prominent national organizations – American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), as No. 1 in the 2018 Top Honors report for size of membership within the organization, and Modern Healthcare, as the No. 2 firm on its “Largest Healthcare Law Firms” list.
