BELLEVILLE –– For the fifth time in a row, the law firm Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale earned re-certification with Meritas, a global legal network.

“Being a member of Meritas is meaningful to us because of the great value it offers to our attorneys and clients alike,” Andrew W. Manuel, a  Greensfelder officer, told the Madison Record. “Our membership enhances our connections to top-level legal representations in locations worldwide.”

Greensfelder is the only Meritas member in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, according to its website.

Meritas members are able to work together across jurisdictions to serve clients.

“Businesses trust the Meritas alliance of law firms for top-tier quality, convenience, consistency and value,” Tanna Moore, president and CEO of Meritas, said in a statement. “Greensfelder has demonstrated its commitment to world-class client service, and therefore has successfully earned its recertification in Meritas.”

Greensfelder has offices in St. Louis, Chicago and Belleville. The firm employs approximately 150 attorneys. It has been serving clients for more than 120 years.

The Meritas legal network spans 91 countries and consists of 182 law firms. Members are continuously evaluated based on customer satisfaction and member surveys. Any members that fall short are asked to resign.
