Polsinelli PC issued the following announcement on June 8.
Shareholder Aaron O’Donnell, Associate Lauren Ortega Focus on Transaction Work
Polsinelli, an Am Law 100 firm, welcomes two new attorneys to the firm’s Real Estate practice group in Chicago.
Aaron O’Donnell concentrates his practice on transactional real estate law. He counsels institutional, private equity, investor and developer clients in acquisition, disposition, financing, development and leasing deals, involving office, retail, residential, hospitality, industrial and health care properties. Previously a partner with DLA Piper, he joins Polsinelli as a shareholder.
Lauren Ortega represents clients in a broad range of real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisition, disposition, development, and finance. She has particular experience in the telecommunications industry, having spent the last six years of her career negotiating leases and easements with large institutions, private landowners and municipalities on behalf of major wireless carriers.
“We’re continuing to deepen our bench in Chicago and nationally,” said Eric Greenfield, co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Division. “As the volume and complexity of our transactional work keeps on growing, our clients benefit from having attorneys like Aaron and Lauren as part of our team. They’re business-minded, with practical experience in a range of transactions, and are strategic thinkers who can help clients solve problems and close deals.”
Polsinelli’s real estate practice has been nationally recognized by Chambers USA, and has earned a National Tier One ranking from U.S. News and World Report in their 2018 "Best Law Firms" report.
“I’m excited to join such a dynamic practice which has quickly become one of Chicago’s top tier real estate groups. Polsinelli has great leadership in place in Chicago and nationally and I look forward to being a part of the team, serving new and current clients and helping grow the business in years to come,” O’Donnell said.
O’Donnell is a graduate of University of Michigan Law School and the University of Notre Dame. Ortega attended the University of Michigan and holds a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
