BELLEVILLE – A man alleges he was injured in a collision on Frank Scott Parkway in Fairview Heights.
Andrew Hewitt filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Tatyanna Winters alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, Hewitt alleges that on Feb. 13, 2016, he was driving in an easterly direction on Frank Scott Parkway when his vehicle was struck by Winters' vehicle as she was turning onto the parkway from a private drive.
As a result, Hewitt claims he sustained physical injuries, property damages and necessary medical treatment.
The plaintiff alleges Winters failed to maintain a proper lookout for other vehicles, failed to properly apply the brakes of the vehicle and field to yield to the right-of-way.
The plaintiff seeks judgment in an amount in an amount of more than $50,000 plus costs of suit.
