EDWARDSVILLE – A Foley man alleges he was stabbed in the parking lot of an Alton establishment.

Brian O'Lano filed a complaint on Aug. 3 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Lance A. Perkinson, Riverside Saloon, The Attic Tavern Inc., Ten-Pin Lounge Inc. and Woodstock Lounge, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on or about Aug. 7, 2016, and Aug. 8, 2016, he was lawfully at Riverside Saloon as a customer and was conducting himself in an orderly, peaceful and inoffensive manner.

O'Lano claims he was struck in the face and stabbed with a knife by Perkinson, who was allegedly intoxicated.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to provide adequate security and failed to safely remove unruly and dangerous patrons from its premise.

O'Lano seeks judgment for a sum of more than $50,000, plus costs of suit, and any other relief the court deems just and proper.

He is represented by Michael R. Wesley of Law Office of Michael R. Wesley LLC in Wood River.
